Soil Solidarity supports many other groups in the Reno-Sparks area that do work aligned with our values. Below is a short list of other groups and collectives doing important direct action in our communities! Check ‘em out!

Reno Food Systems is another 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to food security and agricultural education in our area. Visit their website to learn more about how you can help!

Biggest Little Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid collective serving food and other basic necessities to those who need them. They go out every Saturday morning at Barbara Bennett Park from 10am to noon.

The Reno Burrito Project is another local nonprofit working to provide food to people in need. They bring hundreds of burritos to people in downtown Reno every other Sunday afternoon along with waters and other basics.

Laundry to the People provides free laundry services primarily to unhoused people each Friday around noon at the Mr. Bubbles laundromat on Wells and 2nd St.

Family Soup Mutual Aid is a community group dedicated to pooling resources from the community to distribute to those who need it. Their distribution time is every Tuesday evening at the Believe Plaza (6pm summer, 5pm otherwise).
